Which is better: 3ds or PS Vita? (not a review)

Hey guys! This time, I have another forum-like topic for you: which would you buy- a ps vita or nintendo 3ds? Well, I was wondering which one to put on my Christmas list, and thought that maybe you guys could help!

First of all, I am kind of leaning towards the 3ds, because it has really fun mario and pokemon games that can be played on it, as well as being able to play ds games as they are still in that chip like thing. I've also heard that some of the games that are on it do really well at integrating the 3d function of the device into them, and this is also ultimately what my friends have, so if I ripped open a present containing one of these, I could hook up with two of my friends at church with mariokart 7. That would be really fun.

Next, I have seen youtube videos promoting that you can hook up a ps vita to a ps3 and download a game that has previously been downloaded from the PSN and actually play it on your vita! This would definitely be the primary reason why the vita is still such a viable option in my view. Also, it has a 5 megapixel rear facing camera for taking pictures (this resolution is startling for a dedicated gaming device, it is as much as my galaxy tab 3 8.0's rear facing camera's resolution!), which makes for another cool pro for this one. I think it is also much faster when connecting to wi-fi than the 3ds. Another major factor with this device is it has twin joysticks, which allow for much better first-person shooter games, like resistance: burning skies, killzone: mercenary, and black ops 2 declassified (even though it got really crappy reviews on IGN, something like 2.5). It also has an OLED screen and an intuitive touch display.

So what do you guys think? I would prefer to get opinions from those of you that have tried or own both devices, and love to hear what you guys think in my blog. See ya later. ;P

All about SimCity 2013: should you get it?

Hey guys! Today I have another video game topic for you. Do you like SimCity 2013? if so, what are its biggest pros and cons and should I get it?

From youtube videos and blogs, I have been able to determine that there are many things wrong with the game currently, including bugs, utterly small city sizes, weird zone development, and high price for what you get, and crappy servers that almost never let you in, along with the extremely irritating thing that EA has done, perhaps the most annoying. It is the fact that you ALWAYS HAVE TO BE ONLINE TO PLAY. This really stinks, because I am often on camping trips and such, where I have been offline most of the time, so SimCity 4 on my laptop has proven its worth. I'm sure most of you are wondering: why does EA require you to be online all the time with this game? Well, the answer is simple and is for the same reason that they have done many other things that irritated lots of fans of the games they publish: They want you to always be online so you will buy something like an item pack from their store to progress with the game. I'm not kidding, if you have origin (EA's somewhat trashy DRM service, like steam), all you have to do for the proof is search (simcity) in the store and find that the packs with ferris wheels and such cost about $10 EACH. Sadly, this is very true. EA is very greedy, along with having sh***y customer service, in case there is something wrong with your game, do not expect EA to help.

I really hope that this game gets patches to fix bugs, bigger maps, an offline mode, and a lowered price. These are simply the four things that need to be executed for this game in order to make it worth buying or at least putting it on my list for Christmas.

So to conclude this blog, I just wanted to ask you guys whether you like the game or not and for what reasons, and if you know of anything EA or Maxis will do in the future to improve this game (I read on the video game news that Maxis is looking into an offline mode for SimCity 2013). Bye, and if you have anything to say, don't be afraid to tell me what you think!

Which will you buy: xbox one or ps4?

Hi again! This time, I have a topic for you that seems to be big right now: are you going to buy a ps4 or xbox one? We were thinking about buying a ps4 because it can play ps3 games, unlike the one, which you have to pay microsoft a fee so that you can play xbox 360 games on it. The xbox one will also receive halo 5 when it comes out (no fair).

Both of these next-gen consoles are going to receive new games like COD: Ghosts (it is going to be released on ps3 and xbox 360 as well, but it doesn't run nearly as well), Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, and Battlefield 4. Both of these consoles have roughly the same games except for the series that are exclusive to the console (halo for xbox, ratchet and clank and killzone for ps2/3/4).

Both of these consoles are compatible with a new motion sensor camera, which can be used for hand gestures on the xbox one, at least according to microsoft. They also both have in common a PC-like build, which states that consoles will never be as powerful as PCs because of the fact that they cannot do documents and internet searching as well as a PC can. One major decision factor for you is that the ps4 is only going to be about $400, while the xbox one will be about $500. Another is that the xbox one comes with the motion sensor camera, while the ps4 does not. Also, as everyone already knows, the controllers are very different from each other, so stick to whatever you are used to (ps4 for me, I have never owned an xbox of any kind).

So which one will you buy? If you want, you could let me know by posting in the comments! See ya! #xboxone #ps4 If you found this topic interesting, please re-share on google plus or blogger! Thanks a lot ;)

Are you going to buy Battlefield 4?

Hey guys! I was thinking about buying Battlefield 4 when it comes out, and I wondered if you would be interested to share what you think/whether you're going to buy it too! I'm really not sure at this point, because EA has released some pretty bad titles like Command and conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight, Mass Effect 3, Simcity 2013, and you could possibly count crysis 3.

I just wonder if this game is going to be as good as the ones before it, and if it is worth the money. I heard it's gonna have some awesome new vehicles and weapons, and a new frostbite 3 engine that runs at 60 frames per second on ps4 and xbox one. It sure sounds pretty sweet.

So, you don't have to share your opinion before it comes out, because when it does, I would love to hear from one of you out there if I should put it on my list for christmas and if it has as good gameplay as any of the call of duties.
Bye for now ;)

Do you think that Crysis 1 and Warhead should have offline MP against bots?

Hey guys! I bought Crysis and Crysis warhead 2 days ago, so today I am going to take a forum-like approach and ask you guys if you think there should be a seperate game mode for crysis 1 and warhead in which you can play offline with bots like black ops combat training. I definitely think that there should be because I have had a bad experience with playing with other players online because I stick out as a "noob" compared to everyone else.

I think that a LOT more first-person shooters and not just strategy games should get bots to play with so you can get familiar with the guns and such before heading online to duke it out on a server. Don't get me wrong, I really like strategy games like Command and conquer and Starcraft 2, but I'm just saying that it just doesn't seem fair that the majority of those games get bots and shooter games like this don't.

Be sure to post what you think on the topic (it is the reason behind why I am typing this in the first place). Happy gaming!
