Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Class: Jack of All Trades

Hey guys! I have another awesome class for you today. It will be one that is powerful at all ranges, and a really flexible class overall. Here it is-

Primary: HBRa3 with Fore Grip, Hybrid Sight, Quickdraw Grip
Secondary: MP11 with Laser

Perk 1: Low Profile
Perk 2: Fast Hands
Perk 3: Scavenger and Toughness

Exo Ability: None
Exo Launcher: None

Wildcards: Primary Gunfighter, Perk 3 Greed, and Overkill

So, let's talk about the primary. The HBRa3 fits this role perfectly because it has a decent rate of fire which will allow it to be effective at short range, and has the accuracy to go toe-to-toe with most sniper rifles at longer ranges. The Fore Grip is a very basic attachment that significantly increases the accuracy at longer ranges, which makes the gun better at what it was intended to do. A Hybrid Sight is massively useful because it can switch between a Reflex Sight and 4x zoom sight at the press of a button. While this may sound minor, it is very helpful for those fights where the enemy is too far away to see easily. The iron sight on the weapon is decent, but it doesn't have the kind of zoom and clear view that the hybrid sight can provide. Quickdraw Grip is helpful because it lets you aim about twice as fast, which is vital in closer range battles, since every second counts in this situation.

For the weapon itself, I would choose the "Average Joe" variant if you have it (I got mine around Prestige 1 level 45) because it has less recoil and higher damage than the other models. I would recommend staying away from the models like the HBRa3 Raider, because it is too inaccurate to be of any use at significant range.

For the secondary, the MP11 is a fantastic choice since it fires very quickly, allowing you to mow down hordes of enemies in CQC battles, where your primary isn't fast enough to use. The laser sight is really good for increasing the accuracy of hipfire, which makes killing swarms of hostiles even easier.

Suprisingly, this pic had the HBRa3 Average Joe in it!
In the Perk 1 slot, Low Profile is a simple but useful perk. It lets you remain hidden from UAV sweeps, damage taken from weapons equipped with a tracker, and the Exo Ping ability. Being harder to locate and kill is always a good thing, and that's exactly what this is gonna do for you.

If you select two weapons in a loadout and are planning to use both extensively, then it only seems natural that you would want a way to switch between these much faster when the situation changes. Fast Hands does exactly this, plus more. It also lets you reload while sprinting, which is hugely beneficial for players who enjoy their high mobility. Just be careful not to be reloading while sprinting around a corner (it's happened to me a bunch of times!).

Scavenger is helpful because it lets you pick up ammo from killed enemies, which guarantees that you won't be on an awesome killstreak and then run out of ammo. Toughness is also good because it reduces the amount of flinch that you suffer when shot, allowing you to keep on target in a heated firefight.

Of course, you need Overkill to use an MP11 as your secondary weapon. Primary Gunfighter is necessary for putting 3 attachments on your weapon, and perk 2 greed lets you put two perk 2's into your loadout.

Well, that's it! Hope you guys enjoyed this class, and comment if you want more!

Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Custom Class: Deadeye

Hey guys! This is my third custom class, and I've got the hang of it! Today's class focuses on the single shot power of the two railgun weapons in the game, the MORS sniper rifle and the RW1 pistol. They are both very powerful weapons that can be used very effectively in a class, just like this-

Primary: MORS with Ballistic CPU
Secondary: RW1 with ACOG Scope

Perk 1: Low Profile and Lightweight
Perk 2: Fast Hands and Cold Blooded
Perk 3: Toughness

Wildcards: Perk 1 Greed, Perk 2 Greed

Exo Ability: Exo Cloak
Exo Launcher: None

Scorestreaks: UAV with Support Mod

So first, the MORS was an obvious choice for me because it is (in my opinion) the only sniper that isn't crap, with the Lynx taking too many shots to kill, the NA-45 being too finicky, and the Atlas 20mm leaving me feeling like I was noobtubing with a frickin' sniper rifle! The Ballistic CPU isn't totally necessary, but it does help to keep the sway down a bit so you don't have to hold your breath every time you want to fire, which detracts from the ease of quickscoping.

The RW1 is a super powerful pistol that does even more damage per shot than a sniper rifle (WTF?). The iron sight totally sucks, which made it really hard for me to get any kills with it. I feel like the ACOG scope gives the gun a classic heavy pistol feel, just like the .44 magnum with an ACOG scope did in Ghosts.

Low Profile is important for snipers, because it lets them stay hidden from pesky UAV's at the corners of the map while they do their camping. Lightweight is kinda useful because it lets you move faster, allowing you to evade pursuit and get to a new position approximately 7% faster.

Fast Hands is really handy (pun intended) because you can whip out your pistol while in close quarters twice as fast as you could before, and then back again when you moved into an open area. Cold Blooded is absolutely vital for anyone who wants to get serious about sniping and staying hidden. It completely conceals you from the advanced targeting sensors of scorestreaks, threat grenades, thermal scopes, target enhancers, and many more. People can still spot you normally, but they wasted an attachment slot on an advanced scope! PSYCHE!

Toughness is just useful because you flinch less when shot, allowing you to stay more on target when under fire from your enemy.

The Exo Cloak is pretty useful because it makes you *that* much harder to spot when in a dark area. The reason I say that is because when you're out in the open with it activated, people can still see a clear shimmering in the air, so in this scenario you're no better off with your cloak activated than without it!

If you're following my previous custom class blogs and you know how I roll, then you also know that the UAV is my all-time favorite scorestreak. It's cheap, quick to activate, it's autonomous (no standing on the ground using a tablet and getting stabbed in the back), and it just does so much good for your team, not to mention that you also get FREE points for kills that your teammates get while your UAV is active! It may not get kills itself, but the capabilities it grants your entire team go far beyond what any lethal scorestreak has to offer in my view.

Well, I hope you guys liked my 3rd Advanced Warfare Custom Class, and check back soon for more epicness!

Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Class Setup: The Assassin

Hey guys, I have another custom class for you! This time, the class is oriented towards stealth. Here it is-

Primary: HBRa3 with Suppressor, Fore Grip, and Parabolic Microphone, Fast Mags, or Quickdraw
Secondary: None

Perk 1: Low Profile
Perk 2: Cold Blooded and Fast Hands
Perk 3: Blast Suppressor

Exo Ability: Mute Device
Exo Launcher: Variable Grenade (x1)
Pic Creds: MrCraftyFTW

Scorestreak: UAV with Support Mod

I chose the HBRa3 because it is a very strong fully automatic assault rifle with a long effective range. Firing the first 3 rounds of a mag faster is a huge perk for CQC battles as well. With a Suppressor, you will be undetectable to the entire enemy team, except players that have a Parabolic Microphone on their weapons. The Fore Grip helps to slightly increase the effective range of the weapon by increasing its accuracy. Finally, for the third attachment, I chose the Parabolic Microphone because it helps you be more aware of your surroundings, which is always helpful, as lots of people these days are using suppressed guns. You could interchange this attachment if you wanted to with Fast Mags or Quickdraw, to make it more effective in shorter range engagements.

The secondary isn't really important in any way to this class, so I cut it out to free up space for the other stuff.

For Perk 1, I chose Low Profile. This perk just makes you immune to the effects of the Exo Ping ability and UAV. It is a really obvious choice if you're serious about being stealthy!

LOL
In the Perk 2 slot, I put down Cold Blooded and Fast Hands. Cold Blooded is incredibly useful for people who want to conceal themselves from all the new targeting toys in the game. These include the Sensor Grenade, Thermal Scope, and Target Enhancer, which all make targeting much easier for the user. With Cold Blooded, you are much harder to spot and kill for players who rely heavily on target enhancement equipment. Fast Hands is useful because it lets you reload while sprinting and swap weapons faster. This is a perk that isn't totally necessary, and could be removed to free up a slot for something else.

Blast Suppressor is my pick for Perk 3. When a player without this perk performs a boost move, such as boost jump, slam, or slide, it will show a ripple on the mini-map that lets enemies pinpoint their location. The perk just removes the ripple from the map when you use your exo boost abilities, which is another simple but necessary bonus for a stealth player.

Exo Mute is an often overlooked, but fantastic Exo Ability for silently stalking an enemy from behind and killing them quickly. It just mutes your footstep sound, but I have noticed a very significant difference in the outcome when I try to sneak up behind someone without it and with it. Another vital addition to an assassin setup.

The Variable Grenade is really useful because it can cycle between the functions of Stun, EMP, Threat, and Smoke grenades on the fly. It basically combines the functionality of these four launchers into one great package.

Finally, the UAV is the one scorestreak I incorporate in all of my classes, because it's just so dang useful! I put the Support Mod on mine, because it makes the points you earn towards it persist through death, at an extra cost of 300 points. Although the UAV now costs 700, it is much easier to get because you don't lose all the points you have earned towards it when you die. Note that this mod was chosen relative to my skill level, because I die a lot in the game. If you are really good at getting on killstreaks, then you shouldn't take this mod.

Well guys, I hope you enjoyed my second Advanced Warfare custom class, and hope to see you next time!

How to Get the Android 5.0 Lollipop Material Design Keyboard (With Pictures)

Hey guys! As you probably know already, Android 5.0 Lollipop is coming out soon (it's already out for HTC and LG devices), and I want to show you how you can get a really cool-looking keyboard easily! Let's get started-

Step 1: Install Google Keyboard

First, you have to install the Google Keyboard app. You can download it from the Play Store here. On your device, you might be using the (ugly) manufacturer's keyboard, which you need to switch out to get the nice-looking Lollipop themed keyboard.

Step 2: Go to Settings

To use your new keyboard, you must first enable it in your device settings. Please note that this walkthrough is written according to my Moto G 1st gen, and that the settings layout is different on each android device. Go to Settings/Language and Input and find "Google Keyboard". Tap that weird abacus-thing button and go into "set up input methods". Make sure that the Google keyboard is the only one selected. Once this is set up, tap that weird button to the right again and your Google Keyboard settings will pop up. From there, just select "appearance and layouts" and choose between material light or material dark! Simple as that!

I hope you guys enjoyed this "Tech Time with Josh" blog, and I hope to see you later on my future posts!

Call of Duty Ghosts: Shadowhawk's Marksman Class Setup

Sorry about the bad pic quality. I also hadn't unlocked
ballistic vests yet.
Hey guys, I know that COD Advanced Warfare just came out, but I also know that a lot of you still play Ghosts, so here's an awesome loadout for you! This loadout was built to be an alternative to assault rifles, while also conserving a lot of ammo. Here's the class:

Primary: MK14 EBR with Thermal Scope and Armor Piercing Rounds
Secondary: Any Pistol (I would recommend the M9A1 or MP443 Grach)

Lethal: Frag Grenade
Tactical: Concussion

Perks: Takedown, Resilience, Sleight of Hand, Ready Up, On The Go, Fully Loaded

Strike Package: Support

Scorestreaks: SAT-COM, Ballistic Vests, Air Superiority

With a thermal scope, sighting targets is easy.
First of all, I chose the MK14 marksman rifle for my primary because it can fire slowly to maintain accuracy, or fire rapidly at enemies close up. It also has the highest damage in its class. The Thermal Scope is useful because it can spot enemies from far away and highlight them in white. To see how effective this really is, check out the pic on the right! The thermal scope can also flip down to reveal a holographic sight, which is incredibly useful in tighter engagements. Armor piercing rounds are useful for increasing the damage of each bullet, increasing range, and increasing accuracy. They also negate the effects of ballistic vests, and make you do much more damage against scorestreaks.

For the secondary, it really doesn't matter what weapon you pick, as long as it's a pistol. I recommend a well balanced one, like the M9A1 or MP443 Grach.

The lethal and tactical don't really matter, so I just chose something basic, like the frag grenade and concussion.

For the perks, Takedown is invaluable. Since this class is well suited to picking off enemies one by one, you won't have to worry about enemies swarming you after you get a kill.

Resilience is a perk that is useful for surviving when you jump off a ledge to evade enemies.

Sleight of hand is very helpful when combined with On the Go. It doubles your reloading speed, which is helpful when you see an enemy but don't have the ammo to engage. On the Go also helps immensely, because it lets you reload while sprinting. While this might sound minor, it is actually incredibly beneficial, since you can both evade enemies AND get your weapon ready for the next battle.

Ready Up makes you aim your weapon faster after sprinting. It is helpful for giving you a bonus at close range against SMG and AR players.

Fully Loaded lets you start with your full ammo capacity. It just ensures that you don't run out of ammo too quickly if you want to get on a significant killstreak. I prefer this perk over scavenger because this way, you don't have to risk going out into the open to replenish ammo from a recently killed enemy.

I chose the Support strike package for this class setup, because I wanted it to be a "team player" loadout that helps everybody on your team, not just you. With Ballistic Vests and Air Superiority, this class is built to bolster your teammates. The support class is also good because then you don't lose your points towards your streak when you die, so you can have a shot at Air Superiority and Ballistic Vests. You will also be deploying a lot of SAT-COM's in the game, which will also really help out your team.

I hope you guys enjoyed my second Call of Duty Class Setup blog, and if you really enjoyed it please like, reshare, and tell your friends to keep the awesomeness coming!

Call of Duty Advanced Warfare- Shadowhawk's Shotgun Class Setup

What's up people, it's Josh (Shadowhawk) here with something new for you! With all this talk of COD: Advanced Warfare, you've probably been wondering, "well, what class does Josh use?" Your question will be answered! This is my favorite shotgun class and it will be yours too after you finish reading this! In addition to telling you what I use, I'll also explain why afterwards. Here's the setup:

Picture creds: TIO1Jake | Daily COD Content !
Primary Weapon: (Gold) Tac-19 with Laser sight
Secondary Weapon: None/Combat Knife

Perk 1: Lightweight, Overcharged
Perk 2: Gung Ho, Peripherals
Perk 3: Blast Suppressor, Hard Wired

Exo Ability: Overclock
Lethal: None

Wildcards: Perk 1 Greed, Perk 2 Greed, Perk 3 Greed

Scorestreaks: UAV

Alright, let's start off with the primary and its attachment. The Tac-19 is a very fast firing and extremely powerful weapon at close range, and with the boost moves added into COD, shotguns can really cause some serious damage. The laser sight isn't really all that necessary, but it does slightly increase the hipfire effectiveness. In its place, you can add advanced rifling, which will increase the range by about 50%, which is a HUGE bonus to the weapon's overall effectiveness. The only reason I didn't put advanced rifling instead is because I haven't unlocked it yet.You still have to be right up close to use it, but it's a heck of a lot more effective than trying to knife them. I didn't really need a secondary in this setup. (Note that the Tac-19 doesn't have to be gold, although it looks really beast that way).

Next, we have the perks. In the perk 1 slot, we have lightweight and overcharged. Lightweight is a very simple perk. It just increases your movement speed by a noticeable amount, which is really important when you're sprinting around the map and blasting people's faces off. Overcharged is also a very useful perk for this class. It allows your exo ability to last a lot longer when you activate it. We'll talk about the exo ability in a little bit.

For perk(s) 2, we have gung-ho and peripherals. It's impossible to explain exactly how vital Gung-ho is to this class. It allows you to fire while sprinting and sliding, which allows you to stay on the move and makes you very hard to gun down in tandem with the exo boost abilities. Peripherals is a perk that extends your radar coverage, increasing your ability to know where the enemies are located and hunt them down. It also lets you kill enemies without revealing their death locations, which is vital if you don't particularly like getting swarmed. After all, the purpose of this shotgun class is to move quickly and pick off one enemy at a time and flush out campers.

Perk 3 also contains some really useful tools. With blast suppressor, you are invisible on the minimap while performing exo moves, such as slide, double jump, slam, and your exo ability. Since you will be doing a crap ton of all these things, take a moment to realize just how vital this sucky-sounding perk is. You will become much harder to effectively track down and kill with blast suppressor. Hard wired is a perk that makes you immune to system hacks, EMP's, and various other gizmos. This is really useful for keeping you at your maximum performance all the time so you can keep scoring kills even when your allies are crippled. It was so funny when I was playing with my brother, somebody on the enemy team activated a system hack and he was like "uuuggghhhh seriously! Stop with the freaking system hacks!" and I just said hysterically, "just get hard wired already and quit your blabbering!".

Now, we reach the exo ability, Overclock. I picked Overclock because it lets you move about 20% faster while it is active. Because this class is a run and gun style setup, it's really obvious why I chose this ability for my loadout.

Forget the lethals, they have no place here.

With 2 perks in each slot, it stands to reason that the wildcards in my loadout are perk 1, 2, and 3 greed.

The only scorestreak I chose is the UAV, since when you are at close range all the time, you will probably die before you get a higher end scorestreak. Besides, by not choosing another scorestreak, I can get all of those awesome perks!

I hope you guys enjoyed my very first "Shadowhawk's class setups" blog, and if you enjoyed, please +1, Comment, and reshare! If you do all of these things, I'll continue posting stuff like this!

See you on the battlefield of tomorrow!

Call of Duty Advanced Warfare: What I Think

Hey call of duty fans, it's Josh here again with another game review! This time, I'll be talking about Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, which just came out yesterday if you pre-ordered it, otherwise it came out today. The game is said to be a "spectacular re-envisioning of the franchise" and a "huge step forward". Does it really live up to these claims? Read on to find out!

What I think...

Of the Multiplayer

The multiplayer is the only thing I've played so far. It is pretty good with the map design and weapons, although sniper rifles are still pretty underpowered (even more so than in ghosts). The maps usually favor SMG's and assault rifles in their numerous tight corners and corridors. When you start playing, the first thing you'll notice is that the game is quite similar to black ops 2 in a lot of ways. First, the scorestreaks have returned, so you can get points from various actions towards your next streak by doing other stuff besides geting kills. The UAV has also returned! Forget that stupid SAT COM, we love the UAV! Other guns that are returning from previous call of duties are the AK12 (yay!) Ameli, MK14, and exploding crossbow from BO2.

Other stuff returning from Black Ops 2

Instead of a pick 10 like in black ops 2, it is now a pick 13 system, since the scorestreaks that you choose count as a selection. All of your favorite wildcards such as perk 1, 2, and 3 greed, primary and secondary gunfighter, and tactician and danger close are back! The SMG running and gunning in advanced warfare is obviously taken from BO2 as well. The game is also set in the future (duh) just like black ops 2.

The scorestreaks in this game include becoming a walking tank (right), firing a giant death laser from the sky at your enemies (XS1 Vulcan), and getting to fire a massively powerful cannon from a gunship that shoots in a large spread (The Paladin). While all of this sounds awesome on paper, it actually isn't really. Killstreaks are so rare in advanced warfare that you probably will never get to use the paladin or any of those more powerful streaks.

If you are a total freaking hacker, though, there are 2 hidden killstreaks in multiplayer. The Tactical Nuke that is returning from Modern Warfare, and the DNA bomb (sorta like a chem strike in ghosts, I think), although I've never seen either used in the game before. The Nuke requires a 25 killstreak to obtain, which can also be completed using other killstreaks, while the DNA bomb requires a 30 GUNSTREAK to get. Yeah, you heard me right. I mean, seriously. How is that even possible?

(Video Creds: Ali-A. By the way, go check out his channel, its beast!)

You still die as fast in this game as you do in ghosts, although since there is greatly increased movement and exosuit abilities mixed in, you have a much better chance of survival here. The exo abilities vary from projecting a shield from your arm, to cloaking on the fly. You don't throw any grenades, either. You shoot them out of launchers that are built in to your arms. How cool is that? Those stupid IED's, Claymores, and C4's have been completely eliminated from the game, because Sledgehammer Games know how annoying it is to blunder into them when you're in the zone. Quickscoping and Quickbricking (when somebody throws a C4 and detonates it on you in the middle of combat) have been completely eliminated from the game as well, although I do wish that sniper rifles were a bit more practical in light of all of the superior movement in Advanced Warfare.

And what about the unlock system? The unlocking is quite similar to MW2 and MW3, where you have to get kills with a weapon to unlock its attachments. To use a certain weapon, you must first get to a certain rank and unlock it.

Well, guys, I hope you enjoyed my (super long) review of Advanced Warfare! Check back later, because I'll be adding sections talking about the Campaign and Exo Survival!
