Call of Duty Ghosts: Shadowhawk's Marksman Class Setup

Sorry about the bad pic quality. I also hadn't unlocked
ballistic vests yet.
Hey guys, I know that COD Advanced Warfare just came out, but I also know that a lot of you still play Ghosts, so here's an awesome loadout for you! This loadout was built to be an alternative to assault rifles, while also conserving a lot of ammo. Here's the class:

Primary: MK14 EBR with Thermal Scope and Armor Piercing Rounds
Secondary: Any Pistol (I would recommend the M9A1 or MP443 Grach)

Lethal: Frag Grenade
Tactical: Concussion

Perks: Takedown, Resilience, Sleight of Hand, Ready Up, On The Go, Fully Loaded

Strike Package: Support

Scorestreaks: SAT-COM, Ballistic Vests, Air Superiority

With a thermal scope, sighting targets is easy.
First of all, I chose the MK14 marksman rifle for my primary because it can fire slowly to maintain accuracy, or fire rapidly at enemies close up. It also has the highest damage in its class. The Thermal Scope is useful because it can spot enemies from far away and highlight them in white. To see how effective this really is, check out the pic on the right! The thermal scope can also flip down to reveal a holographic sight, which is incredibly useful in tighter engagements. Armor piercing rounds are useful for increasing the damage of each bullet, increasing range, and increasing accuracy. They also negate the effects of ballistic vests, and make you do much more damage against scorestreaks.

For the secondary, it really doesn't matter what weapon you pick, as long as it's a pistol. I recommend a well balanced one, like the M9A1 or MP443 Grach.

The lethal and tactical don't really matter, so I just chose something basic, like the frag grenade and concussion.

For the perks, Takedown is invaluable. Since this class is well suited to picking off enemies one by one, you won't have to worry about enemies swarming you after you get a kill.

Resilience is a perk that is useful for surviving when you jump off a ledge to evade enemies.

Sleight of hand is very helpful when combined with On the Go. It doubles your reloading speed, which is helpful when you see an enemy but don't have the ammo to engage. On the Go also helps immensely, because it lets you reload while sprinting. While this might sound minor, it is actually incredibly beneficial, since you can both evade enemies AND get your weapon ready for the next battle.

Ready Up makes you aim your weapon faster after sprinting. It is helpful for giving you a bonus at close range against SMG and AR players.

Fully Loaded lets you start with your full ammo capacity. It just ensures that you don't run out of ammo too quickly if you want to get on a significant killstreak. I prefer this perk over scavenger because this way, you don't have to risk going out into the open to replenish ammo from a recently killed enemy.

I chose the Support strike package for this class setup, because I wanted it to be a "team player" loadout that helps everybody on your team, not just you. With Ballistic Vests and Air Superiority, this class is built to bolster your teammates. The support class is also good because then you don't lose your points towards your streak when you die, so you can have a shot at Air Superiority and Ballistic Vests. You will also be deploying a lot of SAT-COM's in the game, which will also really help out your team.

I hope you guys enjoyed my second Call of Duty Class Setup blog, and if you really enjoyed it please like, reshare, and tell your friends to keep the awesomeness coming!
