Alright, let's start off with the primary and its attachment. The Tac-19 is a very fast firing and extremely powerful weapon at close range, and with the boost moves added into COD, shotguns can really cause some serious damage. The laser sight isn't really all that necessary, but it does slightly increase the hipfire effectiveness. In its place, you can add advanced rifling, which will increase the range by about 50%, which is a HUGE bonus to the weapon's overall effectiveness. The only reason I didn't put advanced rifling instead is because I haven't unlocked it yet.You still have to be right up close to use it, but it's a heck of a lot more effective than trying to knife them. I didn't really need a secondary in this setup. (Note that the Tac-19 doesn't have to be gold, although it looks really beast that way).
Next, we have the perks. In the perk 1 slot, we have lightweight and overcharged. Lightweight is a very simple perk. It just increases your movement speed by a noticeable amount, which is really important when you're sprinting around the map and blasting people's faces off. Overcharged is also a very useful perk for this class. It allows your exo ability to last a lot longer when you activate it. We'll talk about the exo ability in a little bit.
For perk(s) 2, we have gung-ho and peripherals. It's impossible to explain exactly how vital Gung-ho is to this class. It allows you to fire while sprinting and sliding, which allows you to stay on the move and makes you very hard to gun down in tandem with the exo boost abilities. Peripherals is a perk that extends your radar coverage, increasing your ability to know where the enemies are located and hunt them down. It also lets you kill enemies without revealing their death locations, which is vital if you don't particularly like getting swarmed. After all, the purpose of this shotgun class is to move quickly and pick off one enemy at a time and flush out campers.
Perk 3 also contains some really useful tools. With blast suppressor, you are invisible on the minimap while performing exo moves, such as slide, double jump, slam, and your exo ability. Since you will be doing a crap ton of all these things, take a moment to realize just how vital this sucky-sounding perk is. You will become much harder to effectively track down and kill with blast suppressor. Hard wired is a perk that makes you immune to system hacks, EMP's, and various other gizmos. This is really useful for keeping you at your maximum performance all the time so you can keep scoring kills even when your allies are crippled. It was so funny when I was playing with my brother, somebody on the enemy team activated a system hack and he was like "uuuggghhhh seriously! Stop with the freaking system hacks!" and I just said hysterically, "just get hard wired already and quit your blabbering!".
Now, we reach the exo ability, Overclock. I picked Overclock because it lets you move about 20% faster while it is active. Because this class is a run and gun style setup, it's really obvious why I chose this ability for my loadout.
Forget the lethals, they have no place here.
With 2 perks in each slot, it stands to reason that the wildcards in my loadout are perk 1, 2, and 3 greed.
The only scorestreak I chose is the UAV, since when you are at close range all the time, you will probably die before you get a higher end scorestreak. Besides, by not choosing another scorestreak, I can get all of those awesome perks!
I hope you guys enjoyed my very first "Shadowhawk's class setups" blog, and if you enjoyed, please +1, Comment, and reshare! If you do all of these things, I'll continue posting stuff like this!
See you on the battlefield of tomorrow!
